2. Data collected
When signing up for the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address
- Whether you want to join the beta (yes/no), if you checked the corresponding box
- The date and time of your consent
3. Purposes
- To notify you by email when ThirdHand Studio launches
- To invite you to the TestFlight beta if you requested it
Legal basis: explicit consent (GDPR Article 6.1.a), collected via the checkbox in the form.
4. Data processors
- Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): email delivery and waitlist management. French company, GDPR-compliant. DPA in place.
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting (thirdhand.studio). EU servers available. Vercel processes connection data (IP addresses, technical logs) required to serve the site. DPA available upon request.
- Featurebase: feedback and feature voting platform (thirdhandstudio.featurebase.app). Data submitted voluntarily (votes, suggestions) is subject to Featurebase's privacy policy.
5. Retention
Your data is kept until the app launches, then deleted within 6 months, unless you request deletion sooner.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of your data
- Rectification: correct your data
- Erasure: request deletion of your data
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent: at any time, via the unsubscribe link in any email

7. App data
ThirdHand Studio is a local-first application: your writing and creative data never leaves your machine and is never transmitted to us. This privacy policy only applies to the thirdhand.studio website.
